For me, children's books are about celebrating limitless energy and curiosity. 

RUN, JUMP, PLAY & CONNECT with storybook characters that excite, inspire and entertain.

My goal is always to keep the drawing energetic and high-spirited to connect with my reader. 

Artwork that is super-fiddly and detailed to me loses something - I want LIFE in my artwork - a freshness. 

I also get bored very easily, so in the spirit of PLAY - I work quickly and do my best to draw things that feel ALIVE.​

I've been illustrating professionally for almost 3 decades now, and bringing characters to life is my specialty.
